In Wave Break at Brooms Head, the raw energy of the ocean meets the stillness of the coastal horizon. This acrylic painting captures the moment a wave crests and crashes along the shoreline of Brooms Head, a serene and rugged stretch of the New South Wales coastline.

​Katies Studio is committed to working consciously and responsibly, with care given to the environmental impact of my art practice. Wherever possible, I source materials and services from local and small businesses, supporting community-based production and reducing transport footprint. I reuse and repurpose packaging for storing and posting artworks, and upcycle vessels within the studio to give materials another life. I also prioritise Australian-made paints and products, making considered choices that align with a more sustainable and intentional way of working.
